Computer networks for small businesses are our specialty. Over the years "networking" has expanded from servicing computers and printers to setting up internet security and access using Virus and Spyware Applications, Wireless Router/Firewalls, and Access Points to local area network security applications. Now there are many more computer network applications every day! For example, one niche is dental offices needing intra-oral cameras, digital radiography sensors, and scanners.

Wayne has 28 years experience in supporting businesses' computer hardware, software, local area networks, internet connection, and network security. Our clients' networks typically are from 2 to 25 computers. We live in El Dorado Hills, California. We consult with customers the San Francisco–San Jose–Oakland Bay Area and the Sacramento Area.

Some History:

Wayne Revels has been involved in personal computer solutions for businesses since PC’s were introduced in 1979. After college, Wayne worked as a Realtor and Building Contractor, but was fascinated with the possibilities for PC’s to speed up his accounting. In the early ‘80’s “speed up” was a figure of speech! External Hard Drives were 10MB and DOS was the latest innovation! Wayne was persuaded by a college roommate, David Schafer, who created a job cost accounting application for general contractors, Data Automation Services International. For the next five years Wayne worked with Dave installing, training and supporting construction companies all over Florida.

Wayne found that his interests are with the Hardware and Software Support side of business. Wayne’s talent proved to be “translation” of “computer-eze” into Answers, Advice, and Training his customers could use!

Family took Wayne to Kansas City, KS where he continued to provide onsite technical support to general contractors using several different job cost accounting software applications for JWS Inc. for the bulk materials industry. http://www.jwscorp.com/

Following his dreams to Silicon Valley, Wayne went to work with Software Shop Systems providing technical support to thousands of customers by phone for seven years. He created and taught classes around the country on DOS and Novel Networks. In 1989 completed a course of study through Novel and earned a CNE, Certified Network Engineer, certification.

In 1994, Wayne formed his independent consulting service, NetGain Technical Services, Inc., serving building contractors, sub contractors in the building trade, several “high tech” firms, SoftDent Dental Customers, as well as many other small businesses.

For our Dental Customers:

• We've supported Dental Practices for over 12 years with your computers, networks, and specialized dental practice management software: Softdent, Dentrix, EZDental, Eagle Soft, and Practice Works.
• We've helped you move your offices closer to the goal of the paperless office.
• We've handled digital imaging/radiography software: Dexis, Kodak(Trophy), Schick, and TigerView.
• We've worked with sensors and scanning software for Dexis, Kodak, Schick, GenDex, and ScanX.
• We've worked through all of the integration issues as each product has improved over time.
