Here is a handy table with Component Specifications Suggestions that you may want to use when looking at hardware purchases for your small business office. We've broken it into a basic minimum office computer, a stronger business office computer, a computer better able to handle graphics, and a server for 10 or less workstations.

A basic computer is a "workstation" used for word processing, simple applications, and email. The next step up would be a primary computer that often is running several programs and needs more processing capability. The next step is a Graphic computer which runs Photoshop, AutoCad, video and music. A Server needs to be strong enough to handle data for up to 10 workstations, plus itself.
